Line 245 (Topanga Canyon Blvd. - Mulholland Dr. - Valley Circle Blvd.)
Service along Topanga Canyon Blvd. between Chatsworth Transportation Center and Ventura Blvd. linked to the De Soto Ave. segment of Line 243 (renumbered Line 244) as a loop route, consolidating terminal at Chatsworth Transportation Center; deviation to Warner Center Transit Center added via Erwin St. - Owensmouth Ave. - Oxnard St. (when implemented, the deviation used Victory Blvd. rather than Erwin St. because of a signalized left-turn lane at Topanga Canyon/Victory); route between Warner Center and West Hills, originally proposed for cancellation, renumbered to Line 645.
Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- Petition with 89 signatures submitted opposing the cancellation of the segment of Line 245 between West Hills Medical Center and Canoga Park (service will be retained during weekdays as new shuttle Line 645)
- Concern for all domestics and students who were negatively impacted by the lack of alternative service available for work and school (see above comment)
- Convert to a DASH route (route was ranked among the lowest for DASH implementation)
