Line 236 (Balboa Blvd. - Rinaldi St. - Woodley Ave. - Van Nuys)
Original proposal was to cancel a small segment on Balboa Blvd. north of Rinaldi St. to address long-standing community issues regarding the Midwood Dr. turnaround loop.

The proposal was modified after the public hearing (see comments below). Line 236 was restructured to operate along Balboa Blvd. to Cascades Business Park, then via Foothill Blvd., Glenoaks Blvd. and Hubbard St. to the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station. The Woodley Ave. segment became weekday branch route Line 237.

Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- There is an unmet need to serve a low population density area and link with Cascades Business Park, Oak Ridge Mobile Home, Juvenile Hall and Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station, rather than cancelling service north of Rinaldi St. (basis for modified proposal)
- Link route segments on various lines with compatible service frequencies and common terminals (evaluated but not recommended)
