Line 234 (Sepulveda Blvd. - Brand Blvd. - Sayre St.)
Proposal was to restructure route to terminate at Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station and operate shuttle route north of Mission College. Withdrawn at the public hearing due to negative passenger impacts, with the proposal to extend service north of Mission College to be reconsidered pending the availability of additional resources, including smaller vehicles*.
Public Comment and (Staff Response):
- Request to modify route (or the route of Line 94) to access ITT Tech on Bledsoe St. and Encinitas Ave. (not recommended since both are smaller streets that would be better served by smaller vehicles)
* - A Line 634 shuttle was implemented between Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station and Mission College in 2006.
