Line 92 was replaced June 24, 2007 between Burbank and Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station with new Line 292, using the existing shortline terminal at Burbank Metrolink Station as the terminal for both lines. When implemented, Line 155 was interlined with Line 292.
A proposal in the June, 2008 service change program to realign Line 92 in downtown Los Angeles to operate to Union Station, eliminating service on Spring and Main Sts., was withdrawn by staff when further research revealed there would be no savings in operating costs:
